Tee Ball, the introductory division of Little League, focuses on teaching children the fundamentals of baseball and teamwork. It's a non-competitive environment where children hit from a tee using softer balls. Outs are not recorded, every child bats each inning, and all participants have the opportunity to play defense. Keeping score is not a practice in this division, which is ideal for 4 or 5-year-olds who are new to the game.
